INITIAL LOGO IDEAS
DEVELOPED BRANDING & LOGO
I was asked to come up a logo and branding for an upcoming festival of art and culture called NOW Northwich. The design brief was to create something eye-catching and different whilst capturing and combining the historic parts of Northwich (Black & White) with the bright emotions of the event: excitement and mystery.
I worked up several design routes and the favourite, was developed into the logo, tagline and colour palette: NOW Northwich: Expect the Unexpected.
Once the brand guidelines had been approved, I worked up designs for event flyers, posters and banners. I arranged the print and delivery of these materials to promote the festival in the weeks leading up to the event.
As well as the printed materials, I was involved in a team at Solutions 24-7 who filmed and produced the event video and managed a multi-channel social media campaign to advertise and spread information about the event. This, along with the printed materials created a buzz about NOW Northwich which lasted long after the festival.
